New Dad-GPT Just Responds to all Queries with “OK”

Humor, What a Concept

The Babylon Bee is FAF*. While the humor often veers into political and controversial social topics, this recent post satirizing AI with an imaginary Dad GPT 5.1 hits my funny bone just right.

Look, we need to joke about AI. AI can create some incredible things. People use chatbots like Open AI’s ChatGPT to write books, create realistic images and incredible videos. It seems the only limit to what generative AI can do for you is your imagination. It’s so good sometimes it’s scary.

Yet the same AI can also seem dumber than a bag of hammers. Sometimes you feel like the AI is channelling Forrest Gump or Dustin Hoffman’s Rain Man. For instance, a chatbot infamously suggested non-toxic glue as a pizza topping. Another famous response said it was safe to walk down the stairs backwards with your eyes closed and invented (hallucinated) nonsensical reasons why it was safe to do so.

The real reason we need to joke about AI is that we’re worried. AI is disrupting how we do business and affecting our jobs. Many big corporations recently announced thousands of layoffs in the US and elsewhere, citing increased use of Artificial Intelligence as the reason. More companies announcing AI-related layoffs are detailed by Tech.co in this article dated October 28, 2025.

What Can You Do?

Using humor to lessen our fears is a normal human reaction. But joking about AI, or outright dismissing it, won’t save your job or your business. At Innovative AI Solutions, we don’t believe in replacing people with bots. We believe the proper role of AI is to augment people, not replace them.

*IMO, The Babylon Bee is funnier when you just read the title and view the image. Like The Onion** of old, the accompanying article doesn’t add to the enjoyment.

**Technically, The Onion is still around, it’s just not funny.
